# Custom Edits
Page Layout and Themes allows formatting to be applied to multiple pages. However, there may be instances when fine tuning is required.
All page elements (i.e., text, map, or photo) can be:
- resized, by dragging the edges of the element;
- moved, by dragging the element to a new location (or dragging to another page);
- double clicked, to bring up a dialog with configuration options; and
- right clicked, to bring up a contextual menu.
It's important elements are positioned at least 1cm away from the edge of the page. A black and yellow border indicating this 1cm margin becomes visible when dragging or resizing an element.
Buttons to bring up the configuration dialog and contextual menu are displayed when hovering the mouse over an element.
Below each page is a Page Settings button, which brings up a dialog to configure the page background.
# Contextual Menu
The Add to Cover menu option is available on photos and sends a copy of the photo to the front book cover. This allows you to select your favourite photos to grace the cover of your book.
The Use as Page Background menu option copies the photo to the background of the page.
The Move to... menu option can be used to move the element to the previous page, next page, or to a new page (inserted directly after). This allows you to split up and merge the content of pages.
The Remove menu option removes the element from the book. This cannot be undone at this time.
