Welcome to TrackMyTour Books! Take a moment to read these help pages to get a basic overview of creating a book.
You can return to these help pages by clicking the HELP! button at the top right of the book editor screen.
TrackMyTour Books automates as much as possible when creating a book. However, it makes a few assumptions:
- Only waypoints with photos or captions are imported.
- The book content is chronologically ordered.
- Each waypoint will create one or more pages in the book.
- A book is between 24 and 800 pages, which makes small and very maps difficult to import (see Splitting a Large Book for ways to handle this).
- You're using a recent version Chrome, Safari, or Firefox on a desktop computer (phones and tablet devices are not supported).
- A book project is a separate copy of the map it originated from. Making changes to the original map are not reflected in the book project.
The application automatically imports the map content and applies a default layout and style. The editor can be used to fine tune the book to your liking.
