After asking for a special clearance, we obtained the permission to fly along the Hudson River, then over central park and also to make some 360s around the statue of Liberty...it was simply amazing!!!

Here is a picture of a DC-3 plane that crashed in the 60s because of adverse weather conditions. It is just north of Iqaluit and very well preserved

Passing Mt. Thor, the world's greatest vertical drop of over 4000ft! Indeed, it's not vertical, but actually overhangs by 15°.

Landed at Bluie East Two, which was a minor United States Army Air Forces (USAAF) airfield in East Greenland. It was operational from 1942 to 1947. Ever landed at an airfield that has been closed for almost 70 years?!

Iceland is really the land of Volcanoes: we saw many of them during our crossing en route to Isafjordur, here is one with some snow on the top giving a particular conic shape.

After an amazing landing in foggy Vagar, we left this Island by making a panoramic tour at 1500ft, flying between the deep waters, the astonishing cliffs and the amazing waterfall!
