we are going on a 4 day hike to macchu picchu with an organized tour and guides! we wont have internet and are expected to be back to cuzco 12th in the evening!

Found a place to stay on the way to Cuzco from Puno. It's a house owned by a 25 year old guy, who finds it too big so has a lot of workawayers staying with him. Very nice group of people. They shared dinner with us and he gave us a room to sleep. We'll stay today here to see how's life and tomorrow probably going to Cuzco.

Raqchi arqueological site - had a great guided who explained a lot about the Incas
decided to skip Puno and Isla de Uros as it seems like a touristic trap (thank you internet!!!)

finally arrived to Puno! bolivian police made us bribe them to cross "illegally", because bolivian customs never gave us the paper of car entering the country.. after 2h we managed to get through.. bolivia (and peru) is the fourth world country!!!! i havent seen worse people even during 1991 in ex-Yugoslavia... NEVER EVER AGAIN going to that awful country!

we are in a town called Sorata.. we slept in a hostel and today we'll visit the cave San Pedro near the town.. then heading toward Copacabana on lake Titikaka where we'll sleep and tonorrow going on the island "Isla del Sol" where we'll spend a day and the day after. We are starting to move to San Pedro de Atacama. It's all asphalt this time and no detours to strange lagoons :) taking RN9 and RN52 and passing by very close to where we were a few days ago
we are slowly getting ready to head toward Chile and San Pedro de Atacama town... waiting for our clothes to be washed (around 17h local time).. we'll probably stop at Susques as it's going to be late..

stayed with a llama shepherd family in the middle of Jujuy near Misarrumi, who welcome us in their house and gave us llama belly stew and coffee for dinner and mate and homemade bread for breakfast. The cutest 5 year old told us everything about their lives and even sang songs in english and helped Marko with his spanish.
