Well it was a 6am alarm today to get us to the start ready for the last day ( hoping ) the weather looks non too good and compared to yesterday it's awful. Rain and the wind against us . Nothing like ending the journey on a tough one .

Somewhere passed Altmaharra at a place called Rosal (viewpoint )

The plan was to stop at Altnaharra after booking it we discovered it had no Loo or showers and worst of all 3 mile from the pub .

So thinking quickly I contacted the Crask Imn , (most remote pub in country , no mains electric ) he agreed to us parking outside using the facilities .. Excellent

So we decided to push passed it and take 20 mile off the following days ..

So 70 mile today and 70 to do to finish .

Fantastic journey! I wonder if you will cycle home on a different route? Are you doing this for a particular 'good cause'?

Don't forget to stop when you get to JoG. Imagine there must be mixed emotions about reaching the end of your epic adventure. Great to see you've got the weather on your side. Pedal power rocks!

Hope you are both enjoying the ride, lovely part of the World. Hope Drumochter Pass has fine weather as it can be dreek up there!

Well done Tony and Billy I can't imagine how tough it must be. You can get bicycles with engines these days. They go so much faster. May I suggest a KTM 1190. Good luck on the last third of your epic journey. Best wishes Robert

Two thirds done, brilliant effort. Enjoy your evening. I was planning on joining you when I get back from Croatia but decided to donate the petrol money instead, when you complete the ride of course!

Hope the celebs cope ok without such media attention today! Enjoy the sunshine. In TdF speak the alps await.

Great interview on BBC radio Cumbria tonight. You both came across really well. Good publicity and amusing. Keep it up and well done.

Billy and Tony ,you are doing a fantastic job.been thinking about you every time the heavens open, been some rain!!! Hopefully now the sun will shine .is someone driving the route sprinkling tacks? You will be a dab hand repairing punctures ! Best of luck

Forecast good for tomorrow so with a bit of luck you will ride through the Lakes in the sunshine. Doing brilliantly so far, well done. Paul

10 mile in day 7 homing in bus shelter again from the rain

Morning lads. You guys are making the impossible very possible. Big milestone today. Have a cracking ride.

Fantastic progress, you guys are truly awesome. Maintenance en-route must cut into your schedule; Kevlar belt and Rholffe drive is the future. What a significant dent in the route you have made, well done.

333 miles, wow a third done, you guys are awesome. Hope you are having fun, enjoy the new week.
