The rocks I painted this week. Most will be hidden in the common areas of The Voyager. A couple of them were placed on neighbors doorsteps!

Visited the desert this morning. It was great. Loved the Raptor show!
Bisbee is a mining town sitting on top of copper mines. Cute little artsy town in the mountains.
We took a drive out to Tombstone. Cute little town but very touristy. Got some great picture!!

Sat in on the Quilters 1 group today. They make so many beautiful and fun quilts.
Adventure to the Coronado National Forest and up to the top of Mt Lemon. It was 58 degrees at the top and 86 in the valley below. We had a picnic lunch, hiked around near the top and enjoyed seeing all the wildflowers in bloom mixed in with the rocks and Saguaro Cacti! Great day!
Busy Hands day. Lots of flannel in the scraps bin so I started a small oval rug! I'm loving this make something out of nothing craft.

What do you do with used pantyhose? The Busy Hands group voted on this ugly guy!!! Too funny! We cut them up for dog bed stuffing instead.

I helped make a few of these squares. I loved working on them and helping. The quilt will be donated to the Ronald McDonald House.

Tory Pines State Park. Hiked from the cliffs down to the beach. Collected a few rocks and then hiked back up and out!
Staying the weekend with the Rizzuti's. Good times with great friends! Alan and Chris have known each other since 2nd grade!

Staying the night with Mom. She fixed a Pasta dish that Alan really liked (he took a picture of the recipe). He might be making this for us in the future.

Yummy! Yummy, we got a Snicker Apple and a Heath Apple. And ate on it for 3 days of snacking. Ryan got a German Chocolate Cake Pop too!

Made it to Vegas. Now we fly to OKC. Plane holds 175 people but there's only 53 people booked on this flight ...... so we all get our own row!!!

Trying to cook and freeze some things that would go bad before we get back.
So it's a cook once eat several time meal tonight with the extra brauts and sausages going in the freezer for a quick meal in the future.

Went to the Gaslight theater this evening with Rich, Marianne, Bob and Kathy. The production was Two Amigos and then a short WMOO Country Show. It was great!
Picked out a few Austrian Opals for gifts! Andy and Paula, our neighbors are Jewelers and they come to Tucson for the annual gem show and stay for the winter. They have a shop in Frankfort, Michigan Sunbeams of Promise and come yearly to buy stones and fossils for their jewelry store.
Ceramics Day. Picked up the garden rock.... it's so cute! The tall denim mug had a couple of places where the glaze pulled away from the bisque so I had to do some touch up and repaint. It will be fired again. Started painting the Turtle this morning. I hope he turns out cute!! Wondering when the cactus will be molded and ready for me to start in again.
Working on the rag rug this evening. It's looking really great!! It measures 27 inches across as of this evening. And at this point I am out of scraps. I'll see what I can find in the sewing room on Tuesday!!
Went to the Quilters 2 session this afternoon. I learned how to make squares for a Log Cabin quilt!!
