Cheongshim. Today we travelled by taxi to a little town that had a massive school and complex. It was in the middle of nowhere but was huge. The school was an amazing intermediate and high school where children had to apply to get in. Children learn Korean, English and another language and a musical instrument. It is a private school. We then went to a camp. At the camp children learn Korean history and etiquette, sex education as well as some outdoor activities like orienteering and white water rafting. It would be crafted for the different groups. We then went back to the hotel and then out for Korean BBQ and some shopping.

Today we left our hotel at 6:30am and caught the train back to beijing. Here we met cindy and Christine. They took us to a beautiful private school. I was surprised as a lot of children had prepared gifts for us. I really enjoyed watching a girl speak in English to a story with no words and though how cool would that be for our kids to do back home. We then went out for lunch and managed to do a little shopping and had a lovely Korean ice cream that looked like coconut. Now we are waiting for the check in counters to open at Beijing airport. We will hopefully arrive in Korea around 10pm and will catch scab to our hotel.

Wow, what a huge day. We started by catching the train for 1 1/2 hours to this city. We were welcomed byyudong school with a banner, a band and a dance group. Then we did the Skype session with Arahoe school and Yudong school. We had such a huge audienceThis was followed by me doing a demonstration lesson. This went really well but I wish I had more time to answer their questions. We then went to an amazing preschool where the facilities were amazing and the children were all fast asleep. We then went to another school and had a lovely lunch, asigningand pen giving and a handprint ceremony. Richard then talked about Arahoe and the principals talked about Chinese education. We also saw a music class and a ballet class. We then went to 3-5 other schools, some of them were rural and they were in such poor areas. We are now on our way for dinner... a feast by the sounds especially for Richard and I. Oh I forgot to mention...I used the squat toilet and did very well!!!i must be becoming a local lol!

Today we went sight seeing. We grabbed a tour bus that you could hop on and off. We went up the shanghai tower, saw the opal building and did a bit of fake shopping. We walked a lot again today... especially to find the fake Nike gear. We were in the people's street when we came across this man who took us tobiy some bags up a dodgy building... I wish I had taken a photo! There stairs were so steep and the place smelt like cat pee but at the top was all the knock off bags and purses etc with all the labels! Then we asked if there were any Nike fake shops and away we walked! I think I got some good deals... but we will see! For dinner we went to the joy city mall which was probably about 10 stories of mall. At the top was a huge Ferris wheel attached to the side of the building. So that was a bit of fun! I got home at about 8pm to the lovely turn down service with 2 chocolates!
