It's has rained heavy all night and seems to be getting worse this morning. The noise in the van is bad and has stopped us having a good nights sleep. It is 7.15 am and we cannot leave the van it is that bad. We cannot hear the TV either the noise is that bad.

Here we are at Palm Beach and it is absolutely pouring rain. It seems to have followed us from Noosa. So at the moment we are in the van hoping it will stop soon.
Had trouble parking van near concrete as there is an enormous tree at the edge and when we tried to park we were partly on the road, so we had to move over to miss tree and we are about a half a metre from the edge of concrete, only a smaller van would miss the tree and be near the concrete to step out onto.

OK, we now have the car working so we are getting ready to move on. It was so cold here in Narrabri last night there is frost on the car. I hope it gets warmer as we go north.
Alick managed to hit a metal bin which was sticking out with the side of his van yesterday lunchtime, he now has a hole which he taped up. I hope things improve.

Just discovered the battery is dead on the car at 9.53pm because we did not switch the fridge from battery to electric. So we shall have to call out the RACV tomorrow morning at 6 am hoping that someone will come out prompt and fix it. Oh! What fun.
